Well, It's Been 2 Years...
I've certainly neglected this space since starting full-time teaching these last two years. It's truly the best career I could have envisioned for myself, even if it keeps me busy. And so, here's what I've been up to in the past 2 years!
C and I moved in together and spent our first years as teachers together. It was challenging in every way but we grew together because of it. We also got our first pets, Reginald (the cat) and Helga (the dog).
We traveled to Minnesota for a family reunion on the farm, DC to visit C's family, Cloudland Canyon, Nashville, Chicago, the Outer Banks, and Detroit.
C built us our first dining table, coffee table, and benches.
I've decided I want to revive using this blog for a few reasons including that I've recently gotten engaged to the best guy I've ever met, had a lovely engagement party thrown by my parents and best friends, and we're moving to Minnesota! Through a long series of events, we're moving to Minnesota and renovating a house. It'll be a journey and I'm excited to have you along!
